Ashley Baker is a Florida native and graduate of the University of Central Florida. Ashley has worked in the nonprofit sector here in Central Florida for almost 10 years, serving in various capacities from fundraising to business development and currently as the Director Marketing for True Health where she leads marketing efforts and community outreach initiatives. True Health, a nonprofit community health center with eight locations in Orange and Seminole Counties, provides high-quality, comprehensive healthcare at a reasonable cost to everyone and turns no one away based on inability to pay.

Ashley is passionate about serving students and families in Central Florida and helping her community to reach its brightest future. Outside of work Ashley is a mentor with Every Kid Outreach, a nonprofit serving students from Eatonville and surrounding areas, and has been a dedicated volunteer with National Urban League Young Professionals for 9 years serving most recently as President and Immediate Past President of her local chapter. Additionally, she is a 2018 graduate of the New Leaders Institute (NLC), and a 2022 graduate of Leadership Orlando Class 102. Ashley looks forward to continuing to empower youth in her community and beyond as new member of the Black History Project Advisory Council.
