About Dr. Demetra Williams

Dr. Demetra Williams grew up in humble beginnings. She was determined to not be a product of her environment and became the first person in her family to graduate from college. She is a proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati where she received two Bachelor’s Degrees in History and Secondary Education respectively while simultaneously competing for the UC Track and Field Team. She moved from Ohio in 2002 and immediately began teaching in Orlando, Fl. She earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Troy University. She furthered her education, by obtaining a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from North Central University. She has been in the education field for the past 20 years. She has worked with students in a grades 6-12 learning environment. Dr. Williams also serves as a Subject Matter Expert for 2 Universities. She is currently a Virtual Instructor and has been in the Distance Learning Field for over 8 years.

 

Dr. Williams is a motivational speaker and workshop coordinator and has empowered thousands of people with her story and creative content.

 

Dr. Williams is a published author of a book entitled "Lead While Broken". It is an interactive journal that helps leaders navigate through the broken stages of their lives. The book walks a leader from brokenness to wholeness while still holding the responsibility to lead people. 

 

 Dr. Williams is the First Lady of Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ (COGIC). She serves as President of the Western Florida 2nd Youth Department. On the national level of the COGIC she serves the International Youth Department and the International AIM Convention. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.  

 

In 2008, she married the love of her life, Jeffery Williams Jr. and in 2012 they welcomed their son Jeffery Williams III.
