About Candace Delancy

Forever an educator at heart, Candace Delancy now serves as a School Success Manager at ThinkCERCA. In this role, Candace supports educators and district leaders throughout the country by providing instructional best practices and literacy professional learning. Candace obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida and began teaching in Manatee County, FL upon graduating in 2010. She has taught grades 1st through 4th, both in traditional brick-and-mortar settings as well as virtually. In 2020, Candace transitioned from the classroom to become a Curriculum Specialist where she assisted in storyboarding and designing online content for grades Kindergarten through fifth grade. Now as a success leader, Candace’s journey has come full circle and her “students” are now teachers. Candace is thrilled to be joining the Black History Project, Inc. family and empowering the nation’s next leaders!
